I had hear of Gackt but other then that, the closest I came to japanese music was anime soundtracks. My whole world changed when a friend of mine came, high off the SKIN concert, to tell me about this energetic guitarist with the most sexiest moves around! She wasted no time in showing me a PV on youtube. My first of many new idols, was Miyavi! There was no turning back at that point! I feel blessed to have found Jrock, not only for it's powerful appeal but also for the respect these artist bring to the table. Not only are they talented and dedicated musicians, handsome as hell men, but also people who we as fans can look up to and respect. In a country where being a "celebrity", be it negative or positive, is the norm, I want to give my time and support to help expose these japanese artists to the unsuspecting world.
