INFO: My first exposure to Japanese music of any kind other than the kind you see in movies, was DEAD END in the early 1990's. I did not realize then that they were Japanese, but I loved their music just the same. Abotu ten years later, a friend sent me a picture of Die of Dir en grey in head to toe leather. Needless to say, I was intrigued, and I've been in love ever since. Japanese rock is so diverse, eclectic, ever changing and unafraid of the restraints most American bands put on themselves. This is why I love Jrock. I want to spread my love and excitement for the music to everyone around me, to 'pimp' the bands and artists I enjoy both watching and listening to, eager to see what they will come up with next.
